That's right. :3 But that's okay.
You know, I never liked it myself at first. When I first tried out the game, I was a charmander but I forgot to save. And then somehow I wound up with Meowth(sort of an upsetting moment). But it grew on me a lot, really.
Now I can't seem to tolerate being anything else in the game. O:
