FlygonBreloom: The Livestreamer of Great Intention (2025)
Drawn January 13-16, 2025. A Sega Mega Drive pixel art gift for 
Flygon featuring their streaming avatar dressed as a mage from their all-time favorite RPG, Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention!
This is my first serious work using Pro Motion NG, a piece of professional pixel art software for video games used by game development studios all over the world, as opposed to the generalized package Aseprite which I used on previous pixel art pieces. In a testament to the kind of person I am, what started as the cute idea of simply drawing a friend in a costume from a game they love evolved over the course of three days into a full-fledged training exercise in doing "regular" pixel art. Having a game like Shining Force, whose art has aged like fine wine, as my frame of reference all but guaranteed I'd be able to pull it off in a timely fashion and that I would love the process of making it.
