“Greetings, kind soul. My name is Astra the Light, Guardian of Soul Garden, Lady of the Angels and the First Song Writer. Please, be at ease, as I come in peace.”

Astra is the light to Lucifer's darkness. Some describe her as the most beautiful being on Earth, often claimed to be the manifestation of God by the Abrahamic religions, and her voice is very soothing and enchanting, especially when she sings. Having the luck to see her even once is an unforgettable experience. Her form is determined by the stories people tell about her.

Astra's main job however, is taking care of souls of people after they die, guiding them to a peaceful end. She attends a beautiful garden, the Soul Garden, where all the flowers are souls of people who passed away, giving them one last time of pure bliss as their souls are fleeting. The Soul Garden has different sections, where different kinds of souls rest. For instance, there are the Bushes of Innocence, with all the souls - mostly young children - who died before they even had a chance to get corrupted. There's the Pond of Comfort, for those who didn't deserve to suffer, and finally find the comfort they needed. But prominently in the middle of the garden, there is an old tree she has planted together with Lucifer: the Tree of Redemption, where the souls of redeemed demons will end up, going in peace. Whoever is invited to her garden is immersed in vibrant colours, peace and quiet, and a hint of bliss.

Some virtuous souls get blessed by her as angels, who are guardians for people in need and lead them to their destiny. Astra is able to look into possible futures, although she's never certain what future will become true, it does give her an idea what people's likely destiny is. She's also the patron saint of the Unicorns, a group of people loyal to her. Unlike what the name suggests, these Unicorns can be any kind of sapient being, with a magical horn with her magical capabilities they receive from Astra.

Astra and Lucifer are in a loving relationship for thousands of years, making Lucifer's darker duty more bearable. He frequently visits her garden, to enjoy her company, and to enjoy the moments he can get away from his duty for a bit. If you ever hear these two sing in a duet, you'll find the passion in their voices infectious. Two spirits fighting for good: one in the light, the other in the dark. They are a symbol that love never dies...

I've wanted to draw Astra for a while, and finally, here she is! Those wings were a pain to draw (even if I traced them from a Heroforge model), but the result is so worth it!
