When a friend asks you for a favour, you don't say no.
And so Dragi found himself personally caring for the pet of his friend's partner for a while - which turned out to be a Carrion Devourer, named Rubrum.
It seemed to actually take a liking to him, as Dragi discovered when he was sitting with some of his fellow shamans and singing - and the Devourer, attracted to the sound, crawled up to sit on his head.
The laughter of everyone make it wiggle confusedly, but eventually, Dragi managed to sit still.
After all, watching an animal is much easier when it decides to be your new hat.

But Dragi *was* quite glad for the thick fabric of his hood protecting his hair and head from the sharp claws and legs of the arachnid...
