The reflections in this picture but specifically on the golden breastplate is so good!

How do you like, know where to start or like know the steps to take with these bounce-light colors n stuff? There are so many spread around the picture!

In addition to the usual light, shadows and reflection, I use the rule "metal, water, glass do not have their own color, they are the colors of the objects around them." Of course this is not entirely true and depends on the material. They may actually have their own color, like yellow here, but it just helps to think, "if take a look here, what am I likely to see from the environment?"

And secondly, a lot of experiments. Make something something and then think about why it looks better or worse than the old version.
