I am a horror fan and love the cursed monster werewolves. They can be quite scary.
But I'm seeing more and more "friendly werewolves" and that's great! Having a werewolf as a friend would have all kinds of advantages, even if you had to endure being soaked once in a while! And it makes them feel less like generic monsters and more like people. Some are bad, some are good. This is one of the adorable ones!
Even the recent movie Wolfwalkers explored the idea of werewolves not as cursed hellbeasts, but as holy warriors fighting for Irish independence. Heroic werewolves are awesome.
