Malory looked over to at Misha, her eyes shifting back to him from the stars and the moon above. "If you ever feel like it, you should have your dad take you outside to look at the moon. He’ll understand what you mean," he whispered with an affectionate tone, his arms raising up from the grass to point up into the night sky. "Even when we're apart, the moon connects us in a small way. Your light touches it, and it comes to me. And mine will hit it and come to you."
