Also, didn’t notice it when work on this was streamed, but the body fading and separating into strands the further down it goes from the head is a delightful touch!

I see this work, and I imagine that it would make Eris so very happy. I mean, not just this particular image, but honestly, the entire story! It's just so beautiful, in so many ways. There is love, sadness, anger, joy and sacrifice.
Indeed, a great deal of sacrifice.
All made in pursuit of something greater, not even fully knowing what that greater thing is, just understanding that it must be done, regardless of reason. Sacrifice made without hesitation or regret, such as only Eris would acknowledge.
And look what it has borne unto the world: a soul has become a star in a universe of one.
What other souls will be enjoined to take up residence in Circe's sky? Who else shall ask her to spit in the eye of the other gods, offering themselves as stars in her mantle of night? How many more will Circe bring before Eris, asking nothing in return, yet reaping a legacy of joy that will endure millennia beyond the dreams of Ozymandius?
