The dragonesses happily walked, skipped, and leapt through the winter scenes of a forgotten forest. Amendelwyr had made a new friend and she was excited to travel with them to the other side of the Forest.
Arijula seemed pleased to have become friends as well; telling about her love of waterfall baths, flying high above the clouds, and sharing tales about the beautiful landscape that the two of them could both encounter.
They were heading toward a mountain, where Arijula and Amendelwyr could seek shelter. While Arijula had a chilling breath and could withstand quite a bit of cold; Amendelwyr, a firebreather, needed to stay warm. Winters in this land weren't too deep, but at least her new friend would be good company to share more stories with.
Many thanks to Arijula for her wonderful generosity in getting this double feature scene for me and their character! I wrote this little story, which I thought was a nice touch to reflect on.
