Nice! I think that you might really enjoy HDR photography.

I've seen some of your HDR stuff and it does come out very nice. This would've been great if I had the time or the equipment to capture it that way.

Almost any point and shoot camera can take a three shot bracket exposure - check your manual. Set the camera for A for aperture priority and the bracket for one shot 2 EV underexposed, one shot properly exposed, and one shot 2 EV overexposed.

There is free software available for assembling the three shots into an HDR photo. When using most software, a tripod is no longer necessary since the software can move the three images into proper alignment automatically.

When sunlight shoots through holes in clouds or above them like this image, I was taught that it was "holy light" and that miracles were happening where the light shone. I wondered why God would therefore perform miracles only when clouds were in the sky. Maybe that's how he transported around but an all powerful God wouldn't need to transport around... etc etc. I find it funny today how my mind used to wonder things when I was little, and yet still believed in God.

Today I gaze upon the clouds and see a real beauty.

Didn't God supposedly float around in an enchanted cloud in the story of Exodus? ... It's hard to believe I took that ridiculous story seriously at one stage.

I think so. My Bible Knowledge wanes as I engrossed myself in the arguments to suggest there is a god in the first place. But I do recall the whole on a cloud thing somewhere in the old testament. *shrugs*
