"What if Mita was Monika's child?"

"That was.. an odd thought that gave rise to me. A thought that echoed in some mind further out, and echoed in my parents' minds, refracted into this reality. I'm told that the very thought that gave rise to me isn't the same as what gave rise to mom. I guess it's because of the source material, on how self-contained my game was to hers... or the motivation mom's character had of breaking free versus the motivation of my character wanting to dominate her reality. There's also the contrivance of sucking someone into a digital world and how there's too many versions of my character to condense into one."

"Leaving me a blank slate to be raised by my parents while taking my name from a game must have been this reality's way of inserting Mita to existence. It's not the same, but I guess it's close enough. I'm here now, and my story's begun unfolding."
