Hey so guess who recently completed Mario Wonder? So, as a result I decided to put together this pic, which actually calls back to an AU that Ben and I created during the AUvent Calender event we did last December. This is the pic in question- https://www.furaffinity.net/view/59034953/ but I will briefly summarize here as well as give some additional information, basically these are the AU counterparts to Kat and Ben in the world of Mario. the Kat of this universe was born as a rabbit with a perpetual identity crisis, never feeling comfortable in his own skin, but that all changed when he happened upon a Super Bell that put him in a cat suit, which the others of Kat's community thought was impossible since the Rabbits aren't capable of utelizing power-ups as a tradeoff to being virtually indestructible to enemies, but in Kat's case enemies still hurt him and the power-ups he came across granted him incredible abilities, and since Kat preferred to use the Super Bell out of all power-ups, he decided to call himself- Catbit. Ben on the other hand was a human that lived in a world parallel to the mushroom kingdom when the Koopa Troops burst into his home and kidnapped him in a big mix-up. Before long Ben met Bowser and over time the two developed a rapport. Like Catbit Ben could also power himself up with the power-ups around the land, and upon seeing this, Bowser's loyal advisor Kamek did some digging, and discovered that Ben and Catbit were among the legendary star children, born with an extraordinary amount of power, though given that the initial seven star children would punch the moon out of the sky or command fire and electricity without the use of a power-up or even float, it was unclear what special abilities were in store for Catbit and Ben.

But onto the story behind the pic- after a nice peaceful christmas together, Ben and Catbit were invited to a land called the Flower Kingdom by its ruler Prince Florian, and since Bowser has been a lot more peaceful after he and Ben got together, he and his son Junior were allowed to tag along as plus ones. When the group got to the Flower Kingdom, they couldn't help but try out the various power-ups indigenous to the Flower Kingdom, of course even with Bowser trying to mend his ways, he still couldn't help but try out the Wonder Power the magical flowers and seeds in this kingdom granted along with Junior. The last thing to really say on the matter, is that Ben's boyfriend isn't in another caslte, he IS the other castle.
