(I decided to give them small - medium breasts that serve other means rather then to nurse the young, since the young can already digest some solid food when they hatch. I'm thinking that they're like a camel's hump, they can hold in extra nutrients and fat during the winter season as food becomes harder to come across in their environment.)

Anyway, Polaris is the daughter of Kuriza and his mate, Chilla. She's the eldest of three, her younger siblings being Winter (Brother) and Phoenix (Sister).
