My first use-your-own-eyes mask in several years and my 2nd ever. Especially for a tricky species like a horse with such a large nose bridge, I'm *really* happy with how the head turned out :D
I am also really happy with the airbrushed dappling between the white and black areas on the bodysuit. I try not to do too much airbrushing on bodysuits anymore but often a little is needed to match the realism of the heads. This spotting is very simple to do (and redo) however and it will last a long time (likely years) before it should be redone.
With airbrushing (from me anyways. I can only speak for myself) There is NO worry at all of it smearing or running - it will just gradually lighten with each wash.

Eh, I think the "use-your-own-eyes" style pretty much always looks bad. That is the only thing I don't like about this otherwise breathtaking suit. The eyes just don't fit at all and look so "fake" (which is funny cause fake ones would look more "real" as in this could be a real complete creature, not a costume). The tiny pink eyes just don't fit the size or colors of the rest of the costume. But I do understand that it was probably the customer's choice to have this specific style, so whatev.
Well - we can still make something positive from this comment.
I personally like masks that allow me to use my own eyes. However it is wise to keep two things in mind.
1.) it's good to use a proper makeup
2.) it's a good idea to use decent contact lenses
My own fur suit that you can see here http://goo.gl/teIVp does not meet your fantastic standards at all. But if you take a closer look like here http://goo.gl/qqy3 you'll notice that it is hard to figure out what is my skin with makeup and what is fur.
As for the eyes I am using sclera lenses. They cover the whole eye. By using them I can fake bigger eyeballs (which is more suitable for the size of the mask - and it completly removes any visual idea of human eyes.

Really love this! Ilike the use your own eyes on this suit. It also helps the suit character is black so it helps blend it all together. I agree some body airbrushing has to help match the head and you did a wonderful job! Super jealous how you did the tail on this, looks lovely!
absoutly beond belife. as of the 18/6/2011 this is THE BEST realistic fursuit i have ever seen, and they call me "the fursuit nazi" in Oz. so my standards, and opininons are the highest of high. just absoutly jaw dropingly amazing. and im sure the picture do it no justice either. omg. you win my friend. you win.
Hooooly... jeezal if I didn't feel like an amatuer fursuit maker I certainly do now! This looks fantastic! ...and the forehooves.... gawds they looks exactly as I've always imagined a hooved anthro's hands ta be like!
