Here we have something, inspired by some recent experiences on Youtube, using a Tablet Device.
I completely understand if a video does need an advert, however, Youtube’s approach to Adverts is growing more and more concerning. In that, not only are they pushing to airing two long, unskippable adverts per break, but on certain videos, there’s an advert break practically every three to five minutes!
There are even times where you get long adverts which are literally longer than the video you clicked on! There have been times where I got a ten second advert for a video that was literally two seconds long, or times where adverts which range from between half an hour to TWO HOURS plays! No Youtube Advert needs to be that long! Even with the Skip Button, some people have Youtube Videos on in the background, as they do something, so they get distracted from what they’re doing to click on the window and to skip the advert.
Like I say, I completely understand if a video needs an advert, to support the video maker, but there has to be a reasonable amount, Youtube has to meet us half way here; otherwise, more and more people are just going to get Ad Block!
So, here we have Clayton having a wave of Adverts raining down upon him.
How many of these adverts are longer than the actual video he is trying to watch!?
Still, I hope you like the Image!
Enjoy!

Like I say, this be on Tablet Devices, where installing Ad Blockers is a bit more difficult, at least, to my knowledge.
Additionally, recently for me, some Ad Blockers do not seem to be working, and if anything, prevent the "Skip" Button from even appearing.
You Know what I mean?

Exactly. There's a whole war with ads and ad blockers right now thanks to google. Google removed adblock from Chrome, been implementing various detectors on youtube, etc.
When it comes to tablets and mobile devices, takes a bit more effort with forcing DNS to use a DNS sinkhole or bypassing the app all together with something like newpipe.

Yeah, especially in light of the recent Honey Scandal (I remember, several years ago, it was CONSTANT with the Honey Adverts).
Or, those "Hero Guild" or "Gardenscape" Mobile Game Adverts, that range from incredibly S3xist, to Misery Pr0n, while also being obnoxious!

Unfortunately, no. uBlock, like many other ad blocks, only has whitelists for websites. The only exception is Ad Block Plus which allows non intrusive ads, but again, because of YouTube's lack of quality control, I don't trust ads anymore on the internet even on safe websites.
SponsorBlock works exactly like ad blocker; it will skip over a sponsor if detected in the video's feed. I've skipped over 3, 231 segments equal to 1 day, 14 hours and 2.9 minutes as I'm typing this.
