Winter 8, Year 1

When Linus had approached Marnie about any extra or old horse blankets, she was a little confused. After Linus explained how cold the deer had been despite his winter coat, and how he had barely left the farm house since winter arrived, Marnie agreed to help. While she didn't have any horse blankets, she had a few calf-sized ones from a few years ago when a cow calved pretty late in the season. The foal boots were given to her from a friend after his horse outgrew them and she just never used them.

The calf blanket was a bit short, and didn't offer any room for the deer's wings (WHY did a deer have wings???), but it gave Marnie a place to start. She'd seen how well Beep took care of his chickens, even after Shane had stopped checking on them at her request. The coop had even been upgraded enough to add some ducks and rabbits, and they all seemed very happy. That was enough for Marnie to put a little community kindness towards this odd deer.

That would have to wait for tomorrow, though. Today was the Festival of Ice, and Pam, Elliot, and Willy were trying to out-fish each other. Everyone was too focused on those three to notice Beep had taken the ice fishing hole on the other side and somehow managed to catch enough fish to win. Nobody knew when the deer had taken one of the supplied rods, or how he even held it with hooves, but Lewis still honoured the count. Willy thought it was hilarious!

The new “Farmer” is just a Weird Ass Deer. NPCs will respond/react accordingly.

This is my first time playing Stardew Valley Expanded, so I’m learning as I go. (Please no spoilers if you play SVE)
