CFO refers to "Cooking for One" which is a recipe series I may expand on a bit with time. Recipes designed to serve one (Maybe a second helping of leftovers) and keep things simple in the kitchen but still have a good bit of flair to them as well.
Here I took flavors that I associate with French Onion Soup and placed them on a burger in a rather easy fashion. I hope you all enjoy!

A great burger is a wonderful thing, and while a good burger can often stand on it’s own it’s often great to add some wonderful toppings.
Here I brought a French onion style flavor to a vegetarian Black Bean and Chipotle burger patty but at home you can use whatever type of ground meat (Or non-meat) you like for this.
This recipe is designed to serve just one but you can easily modify it for more people without any difficulty.
Cooking:
¼ sweet onion, sliced
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp minced garlic
¼ cup sherry
¼ tsp dried thyme
1 Chipotle and Black Bean burger (Or your favorite frozen burger patty)
2 Tbsp shredded cheese (Like Monterary jack or Mozzarella or Gouda)
Start by melting the butter in a wide skillet on medium heat. Add in the onions and saute until soft and browned. Add in the garlic, sherry, and thyme and stir for thirty seconds.
Push the onions to the side and place the burger in the middle of the pan. Put a lid on the skillet and keep the heat to medium. Allow to cook four to five minutes to a side, leaving the lid on so it catches the steam from the sherry. Add a little water if the steam seems to run out.
Place onion on top of the patty. Add cheese on top and cover till cheese is slightly melted.
Finishing:
1 Bun
Mayo and Dijon Mustard
Pickles (I like sweet and spicy pickles)
Preheat your broiler in the over for several minutes.
Spread mayo and mustard on the bun halves (Or whatever your favorite condiments might be.)
Place the topped burger on the lower half of the bun and place on a baking sheet. Bake about six inches from the broiler in your oven for about two to three minutes until the top is browned over.
Remove and server with the other bun half and whatever toppings you might like.
Enjoy a great burger!

Sure thing. I have the recipe from when i had to make a bunch of them in garde manger.
Croque Monsieur
Serves 10
20 slices of bread (preferably Pullman loaf but any bread you like works)
10oz/284g Dijon Mustard (if Dijon is too strong for you, feel free to substitute regular mustard)
8oz/227g Gruyere Cheese (about 10 slices)
8oz/227g Muenster Cheese (about 10 slices)
1lb. 4 oz/567g Boiled Ham (about 10 slices)
4oz/113g Softened Butter
-Assemble the sandwiches for griddling by starting with one slice of bread and spreading the Dijon on it.
-Layer the Gruyere, Ham, Muenster, then another bread slice to complete the sandwich.
-Griddle Both sides in a heated and buttered pan or griddle top until bread is golden brown and sandwich is heated through
-Cut the sandwich on a diagonal and serve immediately.
Croque Madam: After finishing the Croque Monsieur, Place 1 Fried egg on top of the Sandwich
Croque Ganget: Substitute the Meunster Cheese with Gouda Cheese and the Ham with Andouille Sausage
