Standard Day 210, Standard Year 19,868

I don't know whether I find it humorous or frightening to know as I do that so many of the various native sapients here on Ancient Earth view we Druid, and the still-present Keepers, as deities, or near to such. Nonetheless, they do, and thus here I sit, doing my best to spread GAIA's wisdom and ideals to people. I walk alongside a pair of lazurogened tigers, their original species brought back from total extinction by the science of genetics, cloning, and then inoculated against the myriad of nanophages and bioplagues that still call this ancient homeworld of humanity theirs. Unlike their originals, these, though, are borderline sapient, a plan GAIA Herself has said is only just beginning, a re-seeding of potentials meant for a future even one as long-lived as I shan't see.

I call GAIA my Goddess, my light and path, my way, and the caretaking of a living breathing ecosystem regreened from near-total loss my calling, desire, and passion. Let my very existence be a clarion call to the very galaxy awash in so much life that it is possible to care for these Gardens we are still so dependent upon.

In every corner, on every continent on every world in every polity we sapients born of Ancient Earth have reached and touched, let GAIA's Words spark a fire to be fanned into a blaze to be raised to an inferno - "Here we stand! We are the descendants of Ancient Earth! Let us care for the cosmos we now inhabit!" Say it with love! Say it with passion! And never, ever let it die, by the hands of other sapients or by silence and inaction! Let our early failure teach us the love of Nature, and let GAIA, She who was born and made to care for it, be your guide!
