Mark was sitting in a chair when his wife came to him, and then Delfina settled comfortably on his lap.
Having found an appreciative listener, the woman quietly told some of her thoughts, how passed her day, some distant plans, carelessly swinging her legs, while Mark just nodded silently listening to her, hugging the petite woman.

"That dress was gorgeous." Said the woman.
"This dress was skimpy." Answered Mark.
"Anyway, that dress was gorgeous. And don't argue, I saw how you looked at her..." Giggled the woman.

"...And then Mayor Softpaws called me into the office and handed me the whole case!
Yes, I understand how important it is, but I also have my limits, so tomorrow I will meet with hir, to ask hir to delegate at least some of my cases to hir secretaries." Sighed Delfina.
"You do so much for our society. I'm so proud of you. Thank you." Suddenly said Mark.
"Oh, you shouldn't..." The woman smiled happily, reddening on her cheeks.

"There will be liver pate for dinner today." Said Mark.
"With milk sauce?" Delfina asked him seriously.
"Yes, with milk sauce!" Nodded Mark.
"I love you, I love you so much!" Answered Delfina, hugging and passionately kissing her husband.

Poly-relation married life is rather a complex and multifaceted thing, which includes a complex interweaving of the desires and needs of several different people.
And sometimes you just want to sit next to each other and quietly talk about nothing, and then eat together in peace.

Sometimes I write serious things. ...Or I try to write.

sethtriggs For which I am very grateful for his help in portraying all this - because without his vision and pictures I would never have been able to tell this story. He really did a lot for me.
We still have "Tales of Chakona Discord for fans" - a cozy place where we usually gather. But after the recent ...flooding infestation, the rules were changed slightly. So ask around for an invite PM.
