Glory is the first big collaboration between
Foxena and myself. She does the linework, and I make it a comic. Basically I draw the panels and do the toning and shading and tweak and move and wiggle people around and just comic it up.
Samuel is in fact one of the largest landowners in the basin and did the unprecedented thing where he joined forces with a local cult and helped them get a primary town established. But he's not doing it out of the kindness of his heart...

If there is a single line in all of this story that I can state I can hear with perfect clarity in my head, it's this one. Samuel's near-shrill implied tone of "I-just-got-us-out-of-this-you-ungrateful-little..." in his silencing of Verse is clear as a bell in my head.
