Well... *ahem* that's one way to start off the new year with a bang ._.
For anyone curious why good guys tend to surrender when hostages are used instead of still fighting... this is why. Anyone else starting to get the feeling Sonic the Hedgehog, Princess Sally Acorn and the rest won't be able to win the day this time? @_@;

there's a thing villains forget about Sonic....do NOT go after his loved ones. Sonic's a hero, but only because he's bored of life and is looking for a thrill. Sure, he has a heroic personality as well, but it definitely feels like that'll be the first thing thrown out the window when he snaps
yeaahh... that was a bad move on his part.. there's a few things you don't do in that world.. you don't think your self as a ally to eggman... you don't think you have everything wrapped up in a tight little bow.. and you most defiantly do not kill friends or family Infront of sonic... eggman knows this and now Dr M well...
Yeah, likely to make himself bigger and badder as a monster and a thief.
Unfortunately for Dr. M, the rift that Sly and Carmelita fell through left a spatial energy pattern for Bentley to analyze and backtrace to Mobius as its point of origin, and he, Murray, Penelope, Panda King, Dimitri, and the Guru are gearing up to mount a rescue for Sly and Carmelita in the meantime.
Also, Clockwerk brutally shooting Jules in front of Sonic is sure to draw out his dark powers.
