I went to the Defiance Point zoo in Brunton, Washington recently, and it's a fantastic and gorgeous zoo. Not nearly as big as the San Diego zoo, but it's still gorgeous.
One of the better pictures I got was this one of an arctic fox (took me about 20 shots to get this, cause he/she was running around like crazy). I didn't find out what his/her gender was.
As you can see, he/she is starting to shed his/her winter coat, so he/she looks a big ragged. Still a gorgeous specimen, though.
