It was all a lot of fun to paint but the ammonite shitakusa was the most fun of all. I want one.

It's fascinating to look at this and see how many different things in it are iridescent. And I can just imagine your eyes lighting up (iridescently) at the prospect of drawing iridescent things. Now, what's iridescent that a Vantid loves... hmm, tricky...
Oh, and hummingbird names are almost as marvellous as the beasts themselves. :)

Yeah if you said this was painted in Sai I was gonna fall off my chair. 10 is much more detail-able I think. When I had p7 working on my old computer things looked so nice when I was done. still I cannot afford anything but free so I'm still only using Sai and Corel essentials 4.
