It is so true how trauma can play such a big part in making children grow into the sort who would welcome a chance to reclaim what they feel, deep down, was lost. Losing your parents, a divorce, having a disability, etc. can all play a part, whether aware of it, or not, makes someone want to return to happier times when such struggles did not seem to exist?

I'm not familiar with One Shot, but I am quite familiar with all you described in making these characters worth being put into pamps.
