Since I heard popeye is now in public domain, let me see I can remake the character as my own. Rather than a generic slasher I seen people do with PD characters.

In the case for Oliver, what do you get when you cross the name from Olive Oyl, the size of Bluto and the heart, soul, strength and nickname of popeye, result: Oliver Oyl!

Bio/personality

A first glance, Oliver is a non-sense, irritable, savvy and thuggish blunt brute of a ship cat, but fast wit with a hit of sarcastic humor navigating the ocean. All with a heart of gold with good intentions of getting things right in ship work. Even with the speech impediments here and there. And blind on one eye since birth, only to cover it up via his hair from time to time. Leading him to have the nickname “Popeye” as a tease by his crew during his time as a sailor that can annoy him. When he his powers via "specialty sweets", they will think TWICE to mess with him. And no, it's not spinach.


This noble sailor, however, didn't started out this way. Oliver was once noted to be a terrible bully grown up towards prey and various rodents smaller than him. All to show is dominance and control to anyone he meets. Such as beating, bludgeoning or just intimidations all around like a mad giant. Even if Thomas stood up against Oliver during the feline's youthful terror, leading many kids to go up against the cat anthro like a domino effect over time. Overwhelmed, leading Oliver to go back to his broken home sobbing his eyes out. Leading to why he became a bully in the first place with an absent mother and drunken father. That and being never having a stable sort of love to show how to love and care for others. Thus, alienating him deeper and even worse as not finding a safe place to vent his feelings. Up to the point his father has been fed up with his "complaining", and tossed Oliver over the side of the pier into rough waters. Leaving the young cat to drown in the process, only to be washed up on the shore hours later. Reasons why he used to be afraid of water. As a family of mice saved and later adopted him as their new son. Coming to Oliver's realization that not all mice are weak and can help him out. With the support he needed to find the concept of being loved. Finding someone that cares for him for the first time in his life. Ironically still, it gives him the courage as a sailor to overcome his fear of water. All in show his thanks to the new family that saved his life.

Along with his new rodent family owning their own confection shop on the boardwalk shores of Exotika. Reasons why Oliver is now a BIGGER cat from the treats he ate over the years. With his other nickname "Sea pea" given by Olivia Oyl (adopted mother) as she's the shop shopkeeper and teaching him better morals. While spoiling her new son with candies. IF he did a good job at being since to smaller folks them him. And his new father, Caster Oyl, being the owner and creator of "safety chocolate" via "De-Theobromine-a-zation" at the candy shop. A process in such the chemical: Theobromine is removed via mix of chemicalization and selective breeding of the cocoa beans. Leading the treat to be safe to eat and can metabolize for Oliver. As gobbling up the stuff almost 24/7 as the fat feline loving the treat much.

Leading Caster to create a new kind of chocolate that is 10 times healthier than spinach. And this "super chocolate" can help Oliver eat his greens better in small batches by the extra vitamins and minerals. All personality made for his son on his high sea trips. Resulting in the cat to have:
