Loresko and I have traveled together for about two weeks now, yet still I barely know him. Getting him to open up is like trying to pry open a freshwater muscle. You always hear sayings about "lone wolves", but you never expect them to be so accurate.
We decide to rest beside the water, a half hours walk from the station. The lake is illuminated by starlight and there we sit mesmerized by the view. I'd been traveling for so long I'm starting to forget the feel of my own bed. And what about Lore? I could never repay him for what he did in the forest, but sticking by me all this time is clearly more than just concern.
I take a deep breath. The crisp air and smell of the lake feels good. Before I can let it all out, my ear twitches as something incredible happens: the rugged gray wolf by my side speaks first for the first time since we've met. I couldn't believe it and I'll never forget the words that came out of his mouth. It was a night to remember.Category Music / Fantasy
