Hey everyone!
I recently got to watch the first part of the last season of Beastars and had to draw a character I looked forward to since I read the manga - Melon the hybrid. I wanted to make it a small traditional sketch and ended up putting more effort into rendering him with pencils!
I wasn't sure whether I ant to draw him in my style or the Beastars style I use inspired by the Manga, so it's kind of like a mixture between them both now I'd say? Either way, I had the urge to capture both his gazelle features as well as his carnivorous leopard feature sin his face while giving him this menacing smile as he licks his lips and points a finger gun to his head. He is quite the mad lad and I had fun creating this small portrait of him. I wonder if I should draw him digitally at some point, too. We'll see! Did you see and enjoy Beastars Season 3? What are your thoughts on Melon as a character and this drawing I made? I'd love to hear your thoughts^^
