Context: Kurama was utterly unaware of the massive top secret operation currently being waged against him. Insect weilding Shinobi had hypnotized him in his sleep, rendering him unable to wake up as their bug summonings fed on his chakra. The plan had worked incredibly well, as the 9tails had never been attacked by insects before. But soon, the insects became so powerful and overwhelmed by his chakra that they turned against their human castors.
With deadly precision, they rebelled, taking the young kyuubi and drawing him into their hive and assimilating him into the body of their new queen, whom would have him reborn as the ultimate work drone to do he bidding. That is... until he snapped out of it and destroyed everything on his way out.
