Locally sourced, cooked as ordered, simple food simply good.

Sure, not everyone like the potato fries cooked fresh instead of frozen and in rapeseed oil instead of tallow, fresh ground beef not washed in ammonia.

But to everyone their own taste.

Their fries taste like those bag of stick-potato "fries" you can buy in the store, and they overcook the meat to the point where the cheese on a double double melts off and onto that crappy paper wrapper they put it in.

It's pretty much terrible.

Well, you can watch them make the fries from actual, whole potatoes. And if you don't like the cook of the meat - don't buy from a restaurant. And if you don't want the cheese melted, you can ask for that. It's rather traditional for griddle burgers east or west coast.

I'll stick with my feeling that their food is not worth it, and not as good as anyone hypes it up to be.

Well, their food is also not very expensive.

There is a reason to hype up good actors in the food arena, even if it isn't to your taste.

Then why'd you reply?

A good actor is someone who is doing things in a notably ethical manner. They purchase fresh, local to the state; the prepare and cook food at order; and they use compostable wrapping; they pay higher than prevailing wage and discourage staff turnover.

Even if you don't like their food, those actions should be laudable.
