Windcrest Island is a thousand miles away and I don't like the feeling of saltwater on my fur. This seemed to baffle the captain who was convinced the journey was a simple commute for an otter. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his clueless commentary.
The Captain is some brand of fluffy canine, easily twice my size (to be fair, that's not much of an accomplishment to an otter). His crew had been unloading barrel upon barrel of fish from the ship I was hoping to charter. The smell was irresistible but that would have to come later, I'm here for a purpose.
It took some charm and more gold than I spend in a year, but I finally managed to secure a ride east across the great sea. By this time tomorrow I'll be seabound.Category Music / Fantasy
