Aww she looks so soft. I really like the gentleness of this whole piece, from her pose to the soft shading it just feels cozy. :)

The whole purpose of this, including the Blaze one I did a year ago, is to focus on "portraits" rather than smut. Make the girls cute. I failed with blaze because, while I liked the expression a lot, I also gave her ears so fluffy it looked like they'd been stuffed.

I'm sure I can come up with similar mistakes if I look at this one long enough.

I used to pick apart my work the same way heh. I got tored of it and made a rule that I would find at leadt 2 things I liked about a piece then put it away. I know me, by the time I saw it again in a few months I wouldn’t remember what I hated and I’d wish I still drew that way. XD It helped a lot. Everyone else is always ready to judge our work, why be part of that crowd?

But I definitely get that drive to make something perfect. We’ll never get there, after hours looking at a thing you can always see what nobody else ever will. So we keep trying and see if we can fix it in the next one. Art is vety Sisyphean like that.
