I do love my Stargate! While I gave my background artist a lot of free reign in how he depicted warpspace and the design of the observation deck, I can confirm I was absolutely thinking of Destiny when I was writing the observation deck and warpspace. The titular Void Dreamer even recharges via stars, though not so dramatically!
I respect it! I'm too pain averse for tattoos, but I do vaguely remember seeing once a doormat that read, "There's no place like [Earth's seven glyph address]" and I don't think I've ever wanted a doormat quite so much in all my life, heh heh. SG-1 is absolutely my favourite TV show of all time and I could talk about it indefinitely if given the right forum!
