Charlie and Sulu, my birds. <3
I love these guys, they're such a funny pair and Charlie has a LOT of things to say and has an immense attitude.
Sulu is a little anxious, but VERY funny and getting to know both has been one of the highlights of my Christmas.
In my family, we're very much bird-nerds and we DO rescue and adopt. <3
Charlie is a Quaker Parrot, Sulu is a Budgie. <3

That's got to be one of the cutest pictures of Thrasher I've ever seen. There's true and absolute trust there - Thrasher could quite easily eat those birds, but he'd never dream of doing any such thing. They're beloved companions and family members. And I think the birbs know it too.
