Groola is a Yautja bounty hunter from a distant galaxy who came to the Galaxy of the Republic during the Clone Wars hoping for a challenge. She arrived with no knowledge of Jedi or the Force, and while she rose in power and fame among bounty hunters with her great skill and tendency to maim or skin her enemies, whenever told to watch out for Jedi she was always confused. Until one day she was tasked with assassinating a Separitist Leader, and ended up getting herself in a jam when she was trapped and thrown into a pit with Rancors. She was saved by Jedi Master Chion Distan, who easily used the force to calm the savage beasts and defeat the droids. When he asked wh oshe was, Groola told him she was a bounty hunter, and asked what a jedi was. A lot of explaining later about Jedi, the force and the Clone Wars, he could see ha had gained her respect, and also her love. The secretly kept a stable relationship during the clone wars, and When Chion was forced into hiding, they properly married and hid on Naboo, where they hunted large beasts for a living. During the Galactic Civil war, both of the joined the Rebels, and would win many battles together. Groola is very impressed with lightsabers, and when she first saw one cut through hard materials like butter, she was instantly impressed. After the Fall of the Empire, she joined the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition alongside her husband Chion Distan.
