GUESS WHAT I'VE BEEN PRACTICING. 8D

-THE STORY-
So, I've been doing undergrad research at the Augmented Reality Laboratory at MSU since the summer of my freshman year. (For more about the AR lab click here: https://sites.google.com/site/arvrperception/)
I was looking for research outside of Mississippi over the summer, and Dr. Swan, the professor in charge of the AR Lab, said I really needed to check out Clemson University. So I applied for Clemson's summer REU(Research Experiences for Undergraduates) and I made it! =)
So, on the first day of work, my instructions were, "here. You're going to design in a room in 3D with Blender and put it into Unity. Here are some tutorials to start."
It's always been a dream of mine to make and animate 3D models, so this is exciting! So far, the tutorials have taken me through modeling, lighting, and texturing, and I'm starting on animation. (Baby steps Lorraine, baby steps!) It's so much work, but I am having SO MUCH FUUUUUUUN <3

Once again, the PDF tutorials I used to make these models are located here:

Blender is a FREE "open source 3D content creation suite" for making all sorts of nifty 3D projects. The download can be found at Blender's website: http://www.blender.org/
