Seer's Pox is an incredibly rare disease caused by exposure to things which should not be seen.

If not treated by a cleric within the first stage, the condition becomes incurable. Even restoration magic will not work, as it will simply restore the eyes as if they were a part of the patient's original form. While this condition is extremely painful, it grants the sufferer visions of faraway events. These visions are sporadic, devoid of coherence, yet some cultures still view them as being hints of things to come. Furthermore, the pox's inability to spread between people makes it relatively safe to take advantage of.

In certain kingdoms, sufferers of the so-called Seer's Pox are often kept as royal seers, prophets, and fortune-tellers.
