As the final seconds tick down for the end of 2024, Marshall, the chosen New Year Baby of 2025 for the Foxstone Technicalities New Year's party, fell asleep just before 2025 had arrived.

And it really was a shame for the little fox too. Marshall had vowed that he'd be awake and alert around midnight. He had a shiny top hat decorated for the occasion, some balloons tied around his tail, and a fresh diaper taped around his waist. But just a few minutes before midnight struck, Marshall nodded off to Dreamland instead.

But instead of waking him up for his 2025 arrival, Laura just gently picked up Marshall and gently tucked him inside his crib with a warm blanket. "Oh well." said Laura to herself. "There's always next year. Happy New Year, my precious kit." she softly said as she gave her a kiss on Marshall's cheek and quietly left the nursery as Marshall slept throughout the night.

Originally, I was going to post this pic last night just before the stroke of midnight, but that plan was spoiled due to a power failure in my neighborhood. But better late than never!
