wow really interesting on seeing another's view on the elements. i normally have "light" and "dark" circle or connect everything else. though from looking at the focused pics of the "gaia" and "edge" they're both "earth" in your translation. love this image though ^.=.^ sorry for commenting on something long ago :(

Well, in my interpretation "gaia" represents all living things, all things changing and in flow, nature if you will. While "edge" is static and rational, without chance for flaws, probably what you would consider as an "earth" element.

Ray is also not exactly light,a s it may be percieved, but of the ideal good (which is often percieved as light), altruism and sharing, creating.
"obsidian" on the other hand is absorbing self-centered, evil if you want it that way. It represents the darkness, the cold and ultimatively the void.

If you are really interested i can explain you the whole circle and the differend shapes and ideas that brought me to exactly this arrangement and addons.
Its a bit complicated ^^; i guess.

And i don´t mind getting comments at all, no matter from when the submission is, always good to hear someones opinion!

well mabye i should post my elements "chart" but then i'd have to be as general as i can get or i'd make it unreadable or some weird multi shape XD
oh i stopped having "light" making "holy" because there's evil holiness and same for darkness/evil...i kinda have that part on experience>.>
well "earth" isn't perfection it's more of nature and literal earth so my "earth" is inbetween. your gaia is life or nature while edge is destructive earth or earth and wind combined.
