I posted this on my other socials, so why not post it here too!
I just threw in some random art I found on my phone real quick and here's the result!
And man... I am so so proud of myself.... so proud that in LESS THAN TWO YEARS I've made it this far.
It's just so wild to think about man. Crazy how May 13, 2023 was the FIRST EVER TIME I picked up a pencil to draw.
I don't think I've ever stressed this enough, but I was never an art kid. I never doodled, I never scribbled on my homework, I never drew characters from shows I watched. But in just one, single, fateful day, I decided, "hey, I'm kinda bored....ooo look a pencil!". And I'll tell you what, I don't think I'll ever be able to describe the the absolute majesty of the "holy shit, I did that?!" feeling.
Even though I constantly wish I had gotten into art (and this community) sooner, I know for a fact that this door I've opened for myself—just like music has—is something I will carry with me to my grave.
