Chi-Chi the Cat - Reference Sheet 2025
Once again, not too much has changed since previous iterations, except for the stripes which have become a bit more angular and V-Shaped. Previously, they were more rounded and crescent-shaped. So really, it's just one small change to the character design, but I still thought an updated reference sheet would be warranted to improve the layout and utilize the space better to fit more info. ^^
Feel free to draw him if you'd like! I'm not super picky about how other artists draw the stripe patterns, but here's how I personally draw them, in case you really want to be accurate:
3 stripes on the back of both ears.
3 vertical stripes going down his forehead, which all meet at the top of his head.
3 horizontal stripes going down the back of his head (never visible due to his hair).
1 stripe going over and around each shoulder.
3 stripes around his back.
7 stripes going down both his sides, from his hips to his ankles.
4 Stripes going all the way around his arms.
6 stripes going all the way around his tail, plus the tip of his tail being the same color as his stripes.
