"Basically, there’s some headcanon/alt-universe stuff going on. Shadow L𝗎𝗀𝗂a was a regular L𝗎𝗀𝗂a, but was of course captured by Cipher, brainwashed/tortured to become a destructive killing machine, which also altered its physical appearance. My version of this character is that Shadow L𝗎𝗀𝗂a does become “purified”, but they don’t revert back to their normal L𝗎𝗀𝗂a form. They now have mental clarity, but also some deep-seated guilt about all the horrible stuff they’ve done under Cipher’s control. Their appearance scares most people and P𝗈𝗄𝖾𝗆𝗈n, especially those who know what they’ve done. It’s a very unfortunate situation for Shadow L𝗎𝗀𝗂a, and it causes them a lot of distress.
It’s probably why Demi-L𝗎𝗀𝗂a-AJ and Shadow seem to fall for each other. They’re hoping they can “fix” each other, in a way. They enjoy each other’s company."
Was a L𝗎𝗀𝗂a Day thing, I think, with some painting practice. Some lovey-dovey self-shipping stuff. Decided to keep this one to my Discord and Telegram channels.
