The crunching of the snow sounds different under Renae's steps compared to Sirama's.
Renae tilts her head a little, looking down at Sirama's feet.
"...you aren't wearing shoes. I am going to carry you."

Sirama blinks. "...wha-? Wait, my coffe- ahh!"
Too late. The Sentinel had already moved behind the shaman, kneeling down to push her head between her legs, and stood up again, hauling her high on her shoulders.
Laughing, the shaman tries to steady her coffee, thankful nothing has spilled.
"You absolute goofball." she murmurs down to Renae.
Who grins wide as she steadies her grip on Sirama's legs to keep her safely in place, and then starts walking again.
"Love you too~" she chimes.

The little giggle from both of them forms little clouds of fog in the cold air, mixing in with the light snowfall.
It's a good day.

Another very cute piece by  pauline again! It was a YCH, and struck me and my friend as a great opportunity to throw our two cats at Pauline again.
