Poor bun bun Blackavar.
His design came quite naturally to me, his described scarred apperance always painted such a vivid image in my mind. I tried to go all out on his ears to make them look as shredded as possible. Although if I was drawing him regularly I don't think I'd be able to draw his ears like this every time, it was quite time consuming.
I wanted to experiment with different facial shapes with Blackavar. I found it interesting in the book how the Efrafans are described to have their own accent, although it's never actually described what it sounds like. I thought it was fitting to have Blackavar look a bit different compared to the Sandleford group.
