New Year's Eve is almost here and I guess that more characters would enter the public domain as Foxy and Roxy are spending their time in newspaper reading. After they are done reading the headline and its article, Foxy and his girlfriend are discussing about the day that Warner Brothers would lose the copyright protections to Bosko. Foxy's guess is that when David Zaslav is injuring WB's good image that badly, more characters would leave Warner Bros. for other animators and artists and writers and much of this corporation's large list of competitors. What else can you picture Roxy saying to her boyfriend after they are done with this news and who else would use any cartoon animal from Looney Tunes or Merrie Melodies after this company trademarks their previous characters less often and the copyrights are removed from them? I'll let your imagination decide. By the way for those that have not seen these two before, Foxy and Roxy have appeared in the Tiny Toon Adventures episode called Two-Tone Town while Bosko has shown his face in the episode called Fields of Honey. I was once told that these two foxes are a knock-off of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse which is why Walt Disney has interrupted Rudolf Ising's production of these Merrie Melodies cartoons with a phone call that have ended their fame. Fortunately, the Girl Fox and Boy Fox are brought back in the 1990's for the public to enjoy this couple.
