Sychan, Aslan, and Alperen were united in a chimera by an archmage who envied them.

Long ago, the triumvirate of prey, scavenger, and predator were relentless in their supernatural power: Sychan, the rat, easily controlled the magic of the Holy Eastern Goronian Empire (the canine empire); Aslan, the vulture, controlled the curses and charms coming from the barbarian tribes of the southern continent; and Alperen, a predator descended from Goh, was able to perform miracles like no one else.

When the trio embarked on an adventure to find a mythical gem with the power to resurrect digested prey, the great wizard pursued them for years, and after a decade of their journey, they finally found the artifact.

The battle against the wizard was quick and dirty: they were ambushed in the antechamber of the temple where the legendary gem was, and with a simple transformation spell, they became the abomination they are today.

Far from their families, far from their goals, eternally ostracized from society, and at Aslan's mercy for any bodily movement, they were forced to join Arsini's second legion if they wanted to survive.
