New art of one of my older sonic ocs, his name is Rein and he's supposed to be a mercat(haven't designed his mermaid tail yet). Both art pieces were drawn in the game Realistic spray paint & donate.~

Personality: He’s pretty Quiet and reserved, Rein likes to be independent, he prefers to work alone, or do things himself, he's pretty stubborn about that. But he'll tolerate(but be hesitant) when receiving or asking for help, pretty laid back most of the time, but still active, really cautious(though often has a curious nature), Rein is clever, he also has his friendly and carefree side, he has a problem with registering certain emotions and feelings. (He’ll try to help others, only if it doesn’t cause trouble for him)


Likes: the ocean, swimming, the beach, sleeping, floating on the water surface, the cool air, night time, the stars, moon, most land creatures, ice cream and sweet buns

Dislikes: trash, most land animals(mostly includes mobians, mosquitoes and wasps), people interrupting his naps and

Powers: speed(when he's in the water), controlling water and communicating with animals(mostly sea animals, but he often tries with land animals)

Weapons: two small three blade twin swords and a spear


Relationships/family: none, he usually spends most of his time alone, he doesn't like getting too close with others.(it’s more of having trust issues)


Fact 1: the gems on his gloves, necklace, his eyes also glow in the dark(he has really good eyesight)

Fact 2: he has a bit of a weakness for shiny objects…(or pretty trinkets he finds, he likes collecting them, kind of like the little mermaid lol)

Fact 3: His necklace and gems also help regulate his powers, so he doesn’t accidently get out of control, they’re also used to store excess energy

Fact 4: had the ability to change from his sea form into his land form pretty much whenever, though spends most of his time in his land form.(it can also take quite a bit of energy to change, so he doesn’t change too often)
