JANUARY: Free Palestine
An exclusive to Twitter (still not calling it X even though I no longer post there), this picture was done as a challenge to draw your superhero defeating the imbecilic Israeli superhero. Recluse slashed his throat. #FreePalestine
FEBRUARY: Valentine's Day 2024
Apple and Oliver are extremely important to my wife and I, seeing as it's through playing these characters in an ill-fated Pathfinder 2e game that we fell in love.
MARCH: Meme Clown
I drew my new character Sol wearing a dress that was challenged on Twitter and drinking a Cervesa Crystal because memes are hilarious, but people REALLY liked how she came out in the pic!
APRIL: Casual Outfit Debbie
This became the base for Debbie's new base size, plus an adorable outfit that she truly rocks! Haven't drawn many of my sonas this year, but I designed a FUCKTON of characters.
MAY: Grizzy's Growth part 3
The Grizzy's Growth sequence got a little out of hand when I foolishly decided to make them to scale. If I had to redo this, I would prefer to make them simpler, and redraw the last part completely.
JUNE: Megapride Rex 2024
Pride moooonth! I was just here being gay the whole time!
JULY: Meeting of Kindred Spirits
I barely did any art in July because my wife and I moved in together and had a lot of things to set up, but this commission still came out great.
AUGUST: A Very Berry Taran
A gift for my friend and frequent collaborator Batspid. I got to draw a few more blueberries this year, mostly thanks to my Spidersona!
SEPTEMBER: Auna Unmasked
Auna was always one of my favourite designs, so I was glad to see that her face reveal was well received.
OCTOBER: Halloween 2024
One of the few sona-related pics of the year, it was also a great opportunity to go and have fun.
NOVEMBER: Recluse-Berry COMBO ATTACK!
Inspired by a conversation with Spider-Berry (AKA SugarRollArt), looking back at this made me realize how fun I had with the fat Spidersona community this year. Love y'all!
DECEMBER: Merry Christmas 2024
A runner-up for my favourite piece of the year, this gift for my wife meant a lot to me. We've been together in Canada for 6 months and while times could get tough, we always had each other and the world we created.
"MASTERPIECE" OF THE YEAR: Dear Fat Girls...
It's a simple drawover of 2 of my favourite character designs, but this brought me endless joy of laughter and sillyness. It's so contrary to the apparent personalities of these characters yet is so loving between the two!
