2357 Mark walking with Star. A backpack hotdog.

I think about a beautiful random picture of the distant past.

A young-looking and still unshaven Mark slowly walks through the city, with a large backpack on his back.
Attracted by the smell, the man approached the street vendor, where he bought something that looked like a crunchy hot dog, and happily ate it while walking.
But then Mark hears a noise behind, and then a small, thin voice.
"Dad, give me." And then Star sticks hir head out of the backpack and puts hir hand over his shoulder.
Mark gives the food with a smile, and Star hides back in his backpack, while Mark hears the rustling of the wrapper, as the little chakat eats the food.

Star was psychologically traumatized by losing hir parents, and therefore the little kitten became extremely attached to this man.
Although Star calls Mark "Dad" - the young man still does not know too well how to raise children. Although he tries very hard!
Shi is still afraid of crowded places and sits in a backpack behind him. But when they are alone, or back to their little house outside the city, Star laughs joyfully, sticking out of the backpack and looking at the butterflies and green grass around.
One day Mark met a couple of elderly chakats who were slowly strolling along the path.
It was very funny to watch how both kats looked around in confusion, empathetically sensing the presence of a cub of their species, - but not seeing anyone except a lonely wandering man who gnawed a lollipop.
As it turned out later, they were their distant neighbors and very nice people, despite all their skepticism, they still gave the young man some very useful tips on how to care for a kitten.

Done on traditional Thursday's stream on Piczel TV. This was a good night.
Due to war and some ...other difficulties with my real life, I can slow down a bit and post various interesting things here less often.

Also please note that my story is in the process of being written, and most of these small fragments that I published are not in chronological order.
(Chronology always was a real pain for me.) So when I finish my plans I will try to put everything in order. If I can...

sethtriggs For which I am very grateful for his help in portraying all this - because without his vision and pictures I would never have been able to tell this story. He really did a lot for me.
We still have "Tales of Chakona Discord for fans" - a cozy place where we usually gather. But after the recent ...flooding infestation, the rules were changed slightly. So ask around for an invite PM.

In the end, so far this is the only known case when a human carried a chakat in a backpack.
Several cases are known when a chakat couple adopted a human child, but it is not yet known that a human adopted a chakat kitten. Chakats are generally overprotective of their kids.
And, from a legal point of view, to prevent unnecessary questions and extra trouble, Mark Sanders has documents that say that chakat Blue Azure fully entrusted hir daughter Heavenly Star to Mark Sanders.
It was not too difficult to make them, especially since chakat Blue Azure existed only on paper...
