“Wow Jumpy, that’s really bright!” June cheered. “We can probably use it to explore that dark room.”
She gestured to the dark doorway on the far end of the room, Junpei had noticed it when they entered, it was far too dark to see anything inside, so he put off searching it for now. Was that really what the candle was for? Either way, it there wasn’t much wax left, so whatever it was for, time was running out. He reached out and grabbed June’s hand, she jumped slightly at the sudden contact. He gave her a reassuring smile, and puffed his chest.
“Let’s go then.” Uttered Junpei, and they marched, hand-in-hand, toward the dark room…
