I'd Hang The Moon And Stars
Commission for the lovely gutterflower of her personal character with her beloved angryprncess.
Ugh. Really need a new scanner. It's starting to blow out blending and midtones ALL the freakin' time. Looks soooo much better in real life. So much more pink. Don't know WHY my scanner hates pinks so much.
Done with copic markers, brush pen, micron inks, and gel pen on paris paper.

It's just a little inappropriate considering the tone of the piece. The commissioner, not just any person, is uncomfortable with your comment, regardless of whether or not you find it "yiffy". Instead of being defensive about whether or not you were offensive enough, you should just apologize to the person who paid for the artwork for offending her. It's not up to you to decide what is offensive or not.
That said, I'm at least appreciative that you apologized to her for her "discomfort", even if you did cheapen it by telling her that she shouldn't be "discomforted" by an inappropriate comment on a sentimental piece of artwork she paid good money for.

http://www.mustek.com/onlinestore/p.....products_id/32 this bugger. It's great because of it's size, and for the most part, it scans accurately. Some pieces give it trouble though, like anything with a textured surface, like colored pencil on canson paper.
I apologize greatly.
I had thought that comment up as a joke, I didn't mean for that to happen... infact, looking at it, that was very immature of me... 'm such an idiot...
Anyway... I'll just say that this peice of work looks amazingly detailed as usual. Loving the new character! I need to get back into a drawing mood again...

Holy cow, the colors. I'm blinded by the colors.
Everything you started to show in the line art came out 200% in the colored version.
The loving expressions (with the added effect of the blush on their cheeks), the intimacy in their closeness...
It's all so vivid and detailed, I'm really at a lose for what else to say.
Well done, as usual. Your skills continue to improve and impress!

I'm a sucker for coloring blush...I dunno...something romantic about a little bit of heat rising to the cheeks. Plus, it's just adorable.
Thanks so much! Gutterflower pretty much gave me free reign over the background, so I tried something a little fun, and I'm glad she ended up liking it!

Number one, I don't think I've done any Star Wars related porn. In fact, there's ONE piece of porn here in my gallery, and it's a commission that is completely not Star Wars related. Have I done adult works with tasteful nudity, yeah? I have.
Number two, not that I have to explain why I draw what I draw, but most of the uploads immediately visible on my front page have nothing to do with Star Wars. Unless you pay me to draw something with the subject of your choosing, I draw what I want to just like everyone else on here does. I suppose if I don't want anyone to have any issues with what I draw, I should resort to ridiculous sparkledogs that look like recolors of Balto and Jenna, My Little Ponies, Lion King incest, or ungodly amounts of disgusting porn. Nah, I think I'll just keep drawing Star Wars furries instead.
Number three, it's none of my concern whether you click on my thumbnails or not. You either like the art or you don't. That simple, and I'm not going to beg for your attention, your comments, your faves, or your page views. Your comment is just as mature as the occasions when someone types "UNWATCHED" when the artist decides to post something the commenter doesn't agree with. It's a failed attempt at a low-blow and shows you're about as annoying as a screaming three year old in a movie theater.
Normally, I try to ignore this sort of comment. On the best of days, I try to give the poster the benefit of the doubt and believe that it's a failed attempt at sarcasm and humor. However, I'm pretty tired of taking the high road at this point. I figure the only other comment I can remember you making on anything in my gallery was on a piece of giftart I posted that someone else was kind enough to do for me, and that was a pretty instigating sort of comment you made then. You were rude then, and you're rude now. If you can't say something constructive whether it be criticism or otherwise, feel free NOT to click on my art in the future.

I find that sarcasm on the internet is best left between good friends who know each other enough to know within reason when someone is saying something jokingly. I understand that "porn" has recently been given an unofficial sort of secondary connotation aside from the obvious literal definition. However, with the main understanding of the word being "material depicting sexually explicit themes", I fail to understand how I was supposed to jump to the conclusion that you were being facetious. In fact, how is anyone supposed to think you're being good-natured when the only comments you leave have snarky undertones?
And don't tell me to relax on my own page when you were the one who came in here with your ass on your shoulders. Being patronizing will get you nowhere and will only further invalidate anything you have to say.

Here's another example of a sarcastic prick that wants to jump up and yell "Look at me! Look at me!" Your snide comments are not appropriate for this piece of work, and honestly any Star Wars porn I've seen has NOT been produced by this artist. Take your attention seeking ass back to the Wal-Mart parking lot and try your luck there. Nobody here is impressed.
Here's another example of someone committing the exact social faux-pas that they're accusing someone else of in a non-sequitur-filled white knighting attempt.
..Also do people honestly go to Wal-Mart parking lots to get attention? I've heard as many "Wal-Mart people are stupid ergo you are stupid" insults as anyone else but I really don't get what you were trying to say.

I'm still marveling over the bright, colorful rainbow!! Normally I would say that a rainbow/rainbow color scheme dominating a scene is overdone and obnoxious, but somehow you made it work! I think it's really offset by the natural tones of the characters and the moons and stars.
The depth in your shading and coloring keeps blowing me away. I don't know how you darken things so much without completely ruining it, hahaha. Maybe I'm just too scared to go that bold. I love seeing the transition from the sketch to colors <3 They're such cool looking characters and this scene is so sensual but not sexual; there's real feeling and tenderness behind it that your art conveys so well <3
Thanks for sharing your art with us, Wielder! As always C:

I tried to break up the rainbow stuff with the white "negative" space. Also, I think the characters being mainly black and white really helped with that too.
Shading is a scary thing when you're working with anything other than general lighting. It's something some of the folks here on FA really pushed me to try to work more on, and I can't thank them enough for telling me that it was something I needed to work on. So far, it's fun.
thanks so much for the kind and thoughtful comment!
